TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1

Arrive in Hanoi. Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2

Begin the day with a visit to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, an important Catholic site where the feast of St. Joseph, patron of the Hanoi diocese, is celebrated annually on March 19th. Continue to Cua Bac Church, where you will attend a public Mass.
Afterwards, visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, Temple of Literature, and Ngoc Son Temple on Hoan Kiem Lake. Then enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride through the bustling Old Quarter, followed by a traditional Water Puppet Show in the evening.

Day 3

Drive to Phat Diem Stone Cathedral, a unique blend of Vietnamese and European architecture. Continue to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, to explore the temples dedicated to the former kings. Then enjoy a peaceful boat trip along the Ngo Dong River through the karst landscapes of Tam Coc, often called “Halong Bay on land.”
Return to Hanoi in the evening.

Day 4

Depart for Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, board a boat for a 4-hour cruise, visit the stunning Paradise Grotto, and pass by limestone islands and islets scattered across the bay. Experience kayaking or riding a bamboo boat through Luon Cave.
Return to Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Day 5

Early morning flight to Hue. Upon arrival, drive to Our Lady of La Vang Basilica, a major Catholic pilgrimage site. Learn about the Apparition of Our Lady in 1798 and the miraculous stories shared by pilgrims.
Return to Hue for overnight.

Day 6

Start with a visit to the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda overlooking the Perfume River. Explore the Imperial Citadel, Forbidden Purple City, and the Imperial Museum. Afterwards, browse through Dong Ba Market, Hue’s busiest local market. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Tomb of Minh Mang, followed by Khai Dinh Tomb, located on Chau Chu Mountain.

Day 7

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, explore the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, the Central Post Office, and the People’s Committee Hall. End the day with shopping at the vibrant Ben Thanh Market.

Day 8

Travel to My Tho in the Mekong Delta. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, then take a boat trip on the Mekong River to Thoi Son Island. Discover local life with visits to a rice paper workshop, coconut candy factory, and enjoy a walk through the village. Experience a performance of “Don Ca Tài Tử”, a traditional Southern Vietnamese music genre.
Take a sampan ride through the peaceful, coconut-shaded canals before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
